BlackRadish.com has existed since 2001 in many different incarnations. It came into existence as a group blogging experiment. Sadly, this went round about nowhere. Then, it became a singular blogging experience, but was eventually moved to MyGeekLife.com. Since then, we've held onto the domain and the webspace since it was our first domain and site ever. Honestly, I havent the heart to get rid of it, since I do so love The Radish. In fact, its a default email server for a good number of us. You dont discard that which you love.
Now, with the logo revamped, The Radish will morph again. I've intended it for an art project involving the logo for a while now. The site will now embody my vision of urban art involving the Radish logo. Where it goes from there, nobody knows. Its BlackRadish.com. Ever present, ever constant.
This is a test of the wordpress blogging system, so I can show it off to Zorno.
It all begins with an image. A logo. What was once a strangely circular looking turnip thing, has evolved over time, into the logo you see now. A radish. A black radish. The design, singularly used for www.blackradish.com. This is the crux, the icon, the starting point. Where it goes from here, is completely open and possible. But every ripple starts with a pebble in a pond. This is that pebble.
This is a fresh start for The Radish. I’m taking the time to morph it into my urban art project I’ve been plotting for a while now. Its just starting, on a Friday in the 11 o’clock hour. But we’ll see what happens.
